Russell Brand is addressing his past drug use after being charged two months ago with rape and sexual assault in the U.K. I used to take quite a lot of cocaine, crack, heroin, LSD, methamphetamines, ecstasy and marijuana, as well as pharmaceutical drugs, but now I'm lit up by the Holy Spirit, the English comedian posted via Instagram on Monday, May 12. In April, London's Metropolitan Police charged Brand, 49-who has recently talked about his Christian beliefs on social media-with one count of rape, one count of indecent assault, one count of oral rape and two counts of sexual assault.
