Just hard — nothing was coming through." He finally got a call fromJ.J. Abrams, one of the co-creators ofLost, to work on the showDuster, a crime thriller series set in the 1970s. But even though he booked the job, it almost never made it to the screen. "That was right before the pandemic and then HBO was sold twice. But we kept making it through everything. [We wondered] 'Are they going to cancel us?' No, no. We kept chugging along. So here we are," said Holloway. He called the slow process of makingDuster, with many delays, "very difficult," adding, "It was a longest limbo I've ever been in." Holloway also stated that he had to be thinner than his regular weight for the character, and it was a challenge to maintain that look for so long.
