Ina joint postwith Gifford, 71, and the network, a video shows the formerTodayshow co-hosts chatting and laughing as they walk the red carpet hand-in-hand. "Guess who I found!" Gifford tells the camera, jokingly saying: "Kelly Ripa!" "Oh my God, you've changed!" Kotb, 60, replies. When Gifford asks what Kotb is there for, she sweetly declares: "Mainly you." "I mean, when anyone knows that KLG's gonna be somewhere, guess what they do?" she continues. "They show up!" In a separate clip Kotb shared on herInstagram Stories, Gifford broke out into the famous Peaches & Herb tune, singing, "Reunited and it feels so good!" Kotb and Gifford then explained that they were Q50 Ambassadors taking part in TikTok's "Super Brand Day." "We're going to be stream-living," Gifford said, prompting a chuckle from Kotb, who corrected her friend: "Livestreaming." "That too," Gifford quipped. That same day, Gifford gushed over her friendship with Kotb during an interview with PEOPLE. "She's one of my favorite people on the planet," Gifford says. "I was going to spend a year with theTodayshow — spent 11 because I had fallen in love with Hoda. And we text a lot. She's got her brand new life, I think she's going to be announcing [something] very soon, and I'm so happy for her." Giffordexited her fourth hourTodayshow gigin 2019, which she had been hosting alongside Kotb since 2008. Kotb onlyrecently retiredafter 17 years in the position and 25 years with NBC overall. During Kotb's goodbye episodeon Jan. 10, Gifford sent a congratulatory video saying she was "wishing" she was there in person to celebrate. "I've always loved hugging you," she said, praising the iconic journalist for being "so beloved." As the video came to an end, Gifford said she was "sorry to miss your big day, but you know I'm very busy," before appearing in front of the ladies in person. "So you fell for that?" Gifford teased her longtime friend, who admitted she "wondered" whether her former co-host would make an appearance on the special day. "I was thinking to myself, I sure hope Kathie comes," Kotb revealed. In true Gifford fashion, she then sang to Kotb: "My problem is, I fall in love. And I fell in love with Hoda."
