A peaceful night of music, food, and celebration in Vancouver turned into a scene of unimaginable horror on Saturday evening when a black SUV plowed into a packed street festival, killing several people. Many more people were injured in what authorities described as a devastating and chaotic scene in the western Canadian city. One eyewitness said they believed at least 20 people had been hurt. According to the Vancouver Police Department, the deadly incident unfolded shortly after 8pm at East 41st Avenue and Fraser Street, where hundreds had gathered for the community event.
