In another world, Chris Keller would have ended up with a James after all. Tyler Hilton, who played one of One Tree Hill's most memorable guest stars across the show's nine seasons, recently told Us Weekly that there was interest in him being a series regular but it didn't work out with his music commitments. He first appeared in season 2, meeting Peyton (Hilarie Burton Morgan) at the record store and being enlisted to play at her open mic night.
